I'm Fran Storch ND, Naturopathic Physician. Let's plan your unique path to greater health.

I’ve been a Naturopathic Physician for over 20 years, so I understand how scary it is when you’re struggling with health problems. You want alternatives to pharmaceutical drugs. You don’t just want to feel better temporarily.

You want to heal.

I fully believe in the power of Naturopathic Medicine and its central belief that we can access our own inner ability for healing.  I’ve seen Naturopathic medicine help people over and over again in my practice.

I use food and exercise as medicine and teach my patients how to do the same. Optimizing nutrition, fitness and body composition are my passions. I’m also very interested in helping people with tick-borne illnesses (such as Lyme disease), which I consider to be a serious health concern here in New England.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Lab Science Option from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J. in May 1985.  I then worked as a pharmacologist for a major pharmaceutical company for 5 years.

I attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR, and received my degree as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in June of 1995.

My first practice was at St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada, where I pioneered as the first naturopathic physician in the province.  In 1997 I moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, where I was the first naturopathic physician in the City of Halifax.

In 1999 I decided to return to the United States and worked at Natura Medica in Mystic, CT for just over a year.  I finally found my home in the Willimantic/Mansfield area of Connecticut in 2001 and I have been practicing here ever since.

I’m an avid cyclist, and when not in my office can be found exploring the beautiful networks of roads in Northeastern Connecticut and beyond. To help inspire people to greater fitness, I’ve taught Spinning Classes and Zumba Classes. I also have a passion for yoga and take classes in several of the local studios in the area.

Since 2002 I have had a weekly radio show, Radio Naturopath on 91.7 FM WHUS, www.whus.org

I spend time and care in getting to know each patient.  You are an individual with your own story, and I look forward to getting to know you!
